GROOMING PRICE ESTIMATES

Metro Pets is an appointment based grooming salon, so pricing is determined by the amount of time taken to humanely complete a groom at a rate of $85 per hour.
These are estimated BASE PRICES determined by the average amount of time taken to groom them. The ranges listed are the typical cost for a dog that is reasonably well behaved with a well maintained coat.
If your dog requires special accommodations or extra coat preparation, that price will increase based on the time lapsed.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A FULL GROOM

  • Bath and Blow Out
    A thorough bath and blow dry to prep the coat for the grooming tools.
  • Brush Out
    A brush out to remove any tangles.
  • Haircut
    A full body cut, or a tidy if they're not ready for a full cut. Not included in a bath appointment.
  • Nail Trim
    Trimming and dremmerling of the nails, as well as shaving out the paw pads for maximum traction.
  • Ear Cleaning
    Flushing and cleaning of the ear canal to remove debris. Ear plucking available upon request.
  • Teeth and Breath
    An enzymatic foam to reduce plaque and improve breath.

COST INCREASE FACTORS

Because we are an appointment based shop, the final cost will be calculated at the completion of the appointment.     When a pup 's behavior requires additional support and alteration to the grooming process.
  • Matting
    When a pup is matted beyond what would be considered normal or easily fixable.
  • Extra Coat Preparation
    When a dog's coat is packed and requires deshedding, or when a matted coat is brushed out.
  • Squeaky Clean
    If a pup is very dirty or greasy and requires additional bathing to prep their coat for a groom.
  • Deskunking
    If a pup had an unfortunate run in with the neighborhood skunk and needs a treatment.
  • Style Choices
    Dogs who are kept in a very long cut or a highly technical cut that requires a lot of hand scissoring.

Small Breed (Under 20lbs)
